👍🏼14 tonne of hardcore later…the sub base is done 🥵 usually you’d dig out to a depth of 170mm - 100mm compressed sub base, 50mm bed for slabs and then 20mm of slabs…providing the ground you dig out is what we call “virgin ground”…a solid compact enough base to lay membrane then hardcore…this was NOT the case on this job…in some places we’re 350-400mm deep of sub base 😢😭 if you’re going to do a job though, do it property and don’t skimp on materials or hard graft 💪🏼 All materials supplied

There was No room for concrete Pump, so we move it all with wheel barrows to the back of the house then poured the rest into the biggest room. Was hard work but we kept going and got the job Done.
